Read below to learn more about the various student organization funding opportunities offered by HUSC, including Spring Budgeting, specialty funds, and Newly Chartered Organization budgets.

Spring Budgeting

Each spring, HUSC-chartered organizations will have the opportunity to prepare and submit a budget request for the following school year. The HUSC Economic Affairs Committee will then review and make decisions on all budget requests. More information will be provided to chartered groups early in the spring semester.

Contingency

The Contingency Fund is available for HUSC Chartered Organizations who are seeking funds for an event or initiative that was not included in their annual budget.

conference

The Conference Fund is available for individual students and groups looking to participate in conferences, seminars, and other professional development opportunities. The fund may go toward travel, registration, and lodging fees. 

Challenge

The Challenge Grant is available for chartered organizations who have completed their own fundraising. HUSC will match fundraising efforts up to $1,000.

Let's collaborate! This opportunity is great for any organization who would like support from HUSC in any capacity. Need volunteers? Monetary support? Advertisement? Look no further than HUSC!

Specialty Funds

NCO Fund

Newly Chartered Organizations

​If you are a newly chartered organization you may apply for the NCO fund which grants temporary funding to new chartered student organizations.  Orgs who charter in the fall semester are eligible for up to $500. Orgs who charter in the Spring semester are eligible for up $250.

Complete the Newly Chartered Org Fund Request form and email it to husceac@hamline.edu to request funding.
