Midterms Matter Voting Gala!

On October 27th from 5:30-7:30 there will be an event in Kay Fredrick's Ballroom to continue the conversation about voting in midterms. There will be people there who can help you register to vote, educate about who and what's on your ballot, along with a free meal! The event hosts will also address what Hamline Recourse will be available on election day.
We also ask that you send in a 60 second or less clip, shot in landscape, of why midterms matter to you. You can either scan or click this QR code to take you to the form.
Anything that gets people to actually show up and vote is a win in my book, midterms get ignored way too often for how much they affect daily life. A gala is a smart way to make it feel like an event instead of a chore. Though I'll be honest, half the time I forget these things are happening until someone reminds me, kinda like how I'll be mid session on and suddenly realise I've been there two hours.
