  • Concern about One day break is not enough.

    • Transition at Hamline has always been one day fall break. Pre-Labour day start is new because of covid. Students need to have a number of class hours to be able to be credited. Calendar dates are being looked at to look at multiple day breaks for fall and thanksgiving.

    • The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a class day but next year the dates are not final.

    • Communicating with professors to not give big assignments due on breakdays.

  • Who do students talk to about breaks?

    • After this year it is more of a calendar question. This year is going to the dean to maybe do something for this year. Feedback for future years is always available.

    • Andy can be brought in to talk about that.

    • ACTC students, is there a way to have the same days?

    • ACTC is far away from consistency and a great conversations with the provos, Andy.

  • The 2nd of November there will be no GA. Food and Chat instead to collaborate and feed your brain.

  • Work Day is confusing in payments.

    • A question for Brett next Tuesday. If it affects the account today go in at student administrative services at East Hall or email.

  • Some things on Piperlime that aren't on workday. Many students don’t know how to check midterm grades.

    • Registrar is working on it. The academic process went live yesterday. Michelle has to put stuff in manually and only working on it for seniors at the moment.

    • Applications to graduate are at the hamline.com/regisrar they have forms and can be emailed in. Email at the registrar can get responses quickly.

    • Email was sent out to students on the whole process on how to graduate and registar.

    • Piperline is not functioning anymore. And only works for ordering an official transcript.

    • Information for classes should be accurate and the class list is finalized. W credits are still being waited on by the registrar.
